I don't have a favorite one. But the Savoy pink topaz parure, the Danish emerald crown parure and the Dutch Mellerio Ruby parure are all lovely. The one i don't like is the Burmese Ruby set of Queen Elisabeth. I don't like yellow gold, diamonds and coloured stones in one piece. To me it looks tacky even though it's very valuable. --Previous Message-- : if you would name a Complete Parure by name : which you think is the best in the world : : --Previous Message-- : The most complete parures were made in the : 19th century consisting of: : : a tiara : a coronet : a pair of earrings : a necklace : a stomacher : a (pair of) bracelet(s) : additional brooch(es) and hairpins. : There have been jeweled belts but i don't : know of any full parures including one. : : a tiara is not a parure just part of it. : : A demi-parure can be a necklace with : earrings but can also have brooches and : bracelets. : : A demi-parure with a tiara is mostly called : a parure. : : Hope this helps. : : : --Previous Message-- : What parts are in the Parure and why is it : the : most complete, Give it a thought : : Does a tiara need to be in a Parure? : : : : :
