From the Swedish magasin "Vecko journalen" in 1929 one could read the following about the presents: (on the Vasa tiara) Regarding the wedding gift from the City of Stockholm, the story of this tiara has just started. The jewel is designed by Mr. Sven Carlman and is made by the court jeweler company O. F. Carlman. It has a repeating pattern of a stylized vase executed on a stock of platinum, with brilliants of exquisite quality, 986 all put together and weighing in all 49, 5 karats. The biggest brilliant, the solitaire, crowning the tiara, alone is weighing 4 karats. The King’s Diamond tiara is next among the presents, produced at K. Anderson after a piece of jewellery once belonging to Queen Sofia and so cleverly made it can even be used as a bracelet. From her parents the Princess got a lovely diamond collier of big stones set in platinum, and an emerald set consisting of a big brooch and long ear rings. Last the Princess got from her aunt, princess Thyra, a pair of very long ear rings each with very big sapphires set in a frame of glittering brilliants.
