    Beautiful portrait, she is wearing the diamond "bandeau" as bracelet. I think its a lovely and versatile piece that sould not stay in the vaults.

    As to your previous post, thank you for that information, are there any pictures of that event?
    When it's said that Pss Astrid wore it as a little crown, it means as a fully closed bracelet placed on the top of the head right? The idea reminds me of young Queen Sirikit of Thailand wearing the traditional gold crown on top of the head...

    Still think that a wider version of the bracelet set on an appropriate frame would be a very nice small tiara for a young princess, maybe for Pss Ingrid Alexandra sometime in the future.

    I am not sure if this is one of the historical pieces that Pss Astrid told will be returned to the main line after her passing, but I hope so. So lovely for Pss Ingrid if she was to be able to wear this fine and versatile piece from her greatgrandmother.
