Here I found which wedding the Countess of Paris wore the imposing diamonds tiara belonging to Mr. Arpels: It was in 1988 at the wedding of her grand-daughter Princess Mathilde of Wurttenberg to the hereditary Count Erich Von Wahlburg-Zeil at Althausen Castle, home of the Wurttenberg Ducal Family. At this same wedding was taken a family and guests photos including HRH the Princess Marina of Greece wearing her version of the Niarchos rubies necklace (but with sapphires or emeralds) and her three buttons diamonds flowers tiara with a base in foliage of pavé diamonds. --Previous Message-- : Thanks for sharing your observation, Dmitry. : If my count is correct, Princess Grace and : the Countess of Paris are wearing the same : tiara, with 10 small diamonds in the element : Dmitry is talking about. On the pic of the : tiara from the auction there are only 8 : surrounding diamonds in that element. : : I wonder at which weddiing the Countess of : Paris wore it. IIRC, she wore an emerald : tiara at the pre-wedding of Duke Friedrich : with Princess Marie zu Wied. : : --Previous Message-- : HRH Madame the Princess Isabelle of : Orléans-Bragança, Countess of Paris, wore : the same tiara at aWurttenberg wedding of : one of her grand-children, I remember that : PdV magazine wrote that the tiara was part : of the private collection of Mr. Arpels. : : : : : : : : : : :
