As I mentioned above, it would be a very nice idea for Stéphanie de Lannoy to ‘do a Sophie of Prussia’, meaning to wear a Lannoy tiara AND a Luxembourg tiara for the pre-wedding gala and the wedding, respectively – IF tiaras are worn at the gala on the night before the wedding.
I too find it hard to imagine that the Lannoys do not have a tiara, but the only picture that seems to have surfaced so far with a possible candidate for a Lannoy tiara is this one, from the wedding of Stéphanie’s first cousin Christine de Lannoy to Count Bruno of Limburg Stirum, son of Princess Hélène d'Orléans.
Perhaps someone else has found out more about the Lannoy jewels?
