Queen Silvia by comparison chose a similar approach of jewelry placement, but using the real thing: Queen Viktoria's diamond and pearl brooch, the early 19th century drop pearl earrings from the first Bernadotte King's collection, and her own pearl bracelet and (discreetly obscured ) diamond necklace:
