Which parts were missing?
The Commander-in-chief (General A. Middendorp, Engineering Corps) wore the Sword-of-State without the velvet scabbard (sheath). See picture.
Before him stands his predecessor as Commander-in-Chief (General P.J.A. van Uhm, Grenadiers & Rifles) whom acted as King-of-Arms.
At the other side of the dais the Inspector-General of the Armed Forces (Lieutenant-General A. van Ede, Marines Corps) wore the Standard of the Realm.
