She didn't choose to wear any other jewels than those she wore. End of. 'Build a bridge and get over it' as my nephew says!.... We can decry the lack of historic pieces forever, no one more than I likes to look at glamorous photos of ladies dressed to the nines. BUT that disallows for taste, style and choice of the person beleaguered under so many carat weight of stones when the Duchess's style is as we've seen, simple, bordering on the classic with a penchant for familiar significant to herself jewels. As it was stated, one day she'll have the lot to choose from, let her enjoy her life as she's making it, fitting in elegantly but APPROPRIATELY with her duties and subjects! There IS still an economic crisis in the UK however the Economy might be developing, ladling on the gems would alienate her possibly whilst the British public are still 'on honeymoon' with her! --Previous Message-- : Indeed, the only two Windsors really reaching : old age are Queen Elizabeth and the late : Countess of Athlone born Princess Alice of : Albany (almost 98 years old). :
