    No. Definitely NOT Queen Adelaide's brooch.
    The hat brooch looks to me be be worked in gold with a precious stone centre.
    Fields also mentioned that it was from Emp. Maria Feodorovna.
    Fields also mentioned that it is now in the hands of Prince(ss) Michael of Kent (through Marina.) Maybe this is the route to uncover more info.
