Hi Franck Well, we are almost in agreement. Personally, I think the picture I provided fits perfectly with the description you provided of a "square aquamarine brooch with two curved diamond branches". The curved diamond branches are clearly visible. Unless there is some other details, it looks like a match to me. But that is just my opinion of course. As for the Duchess of Cornwall brooch... were you referring to the one she work at HM's Diamond Jubilee Service seen here? Cheers! Please note that : the : various clips as calculated as separate : pieces(for the Cartier clips and the Curved : Aqua & Dia Clips) Therefore we have 11 : brooches. : : The brooch called aquamarine vase is : considered to me as multicolored brooch. : : Last but not least, we do not have the proof : than the small brooch is the brooch : described by Leslie Field - To me the : description is different. : : The aquamarine brooch worn by the DOC is not : the the large aqua choker. : : Best regards, : : Franck : : --Previous Message-- : Hi Franck. : I have been thinking some more about your : post and QEII’s aquamarine brooches. : You mention 11 brooches. I think that is : too high. You only list 9 items. : : I am assuming that you consider that the : Curved Clips of QEQM (4th on your list) were : inherited by HM. I do not know that QEII : has ever worn these – but please correct me : if I am wrong. : : Also, the piece you mention worn by the : Duchess of Cornwall – I assume you mean the : large aqua choker. Are you assuming that it : was inherited by The Queen and just on loan : to Camilla? In my thinking, I would have to : include this with Camilla’s jewels as I : never expect that HM will wear this piece. : : However, I would add to the list the floral : brooch with the aquamarine vase (see : picture) as I consider this an aquamarine : piece as it is the biggest stone. : : : : My List : 1) Cartier clips (from 1944) : 2) Brazilian : 3) Small Square with curved branches : 4) Curved Aqua & Dia Clips – assumed : inherited : 5) Brooch seen in documentary : 6) QEQM Aqua & Dia (recently worn) – (I : personally do not think this a double clip) : 7) Floral with Aqua vase (above) : : I have not seen the brooch with the pearl : pendant – so it is in my unconfirmed list. : I also have not included the piece worm by : Camilla (as noted above) : : Therefore, I only get to 7 or 8. Am I : missing something – or are you counting the : various clips as separate pieces? : : Cheers! : Bryce : : : --Previous Message-- : Dear all, : : : Please find below my list of aquamarine and : diamond brooches owned or/ and worn by Queen : Elizabeth II (To me on least 11 aquamarine : and diamond brooches) : : : - the aquamarine clips ; : - the brazilian aquamarine and diamond : brooch ; : - the small aquamarine and diamond brooch : (worn at the diamond jubilee trust : reception); : - the curved diamond and aquamarine clips : owned by Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother : (described by Leslie Field) : - the square aquamarine brooch with two : curved diamond branches brooch described by : Leslie Field. : Unworn ? never seen a photo of the brooch : - A square aquamarine and diamond brooch : (posted by Baxter I think) ; photo taken : from an documentary of Queen Elizabeth II - : Have you got a better photo of the brooch ? : - An aquamarine and diamond brooch with a : pearl pendant ? worn in the 70's or in the : 80's with a pink dress ; Have you got a : photo of the brooch ? : : - the Queen Mother's double clip aquamarine : and diamond brooch : : : - an central aquamarine stone framed by : diamonds and surrounded by larger round : diamonds worn by the Duchess of Cornwall : (must be from Queen Elizabeth the Queen : Mother) : : Best regards, : : Franck : : : : :
