It would seem logical that the daughters of the late Count Christian and Countess Anne-Dorte of Rosenborg receive their parents' jewels - though I doubt they will have use of them. But Count Ingolf and Princess Elisabeth are both childless, and I guess that nothing in the Danish inheritance law "forces" them to bequeathe their respective jewels to their Rosenborg nieces. They could decide to bequeathe their jewels (at least the main ones) to their cousin the Queen, or to Crown Prince Frederik/Crown Princess Mary, or to the Crown's collection (i.e. the jewels kept at Rosenborg Castle). From a historical and dynastic point of view, that would make sense (at least for the jewels coming from Queen Alexandrine or earlier). I do not know how warm are the relations between Prince Knud's children and the main branch of the Royal Family, but it would be fine if a private agreement between the cousins could be found about the whereabout of these jewels after Elisabeth and Ingolf's death (which, I hope, will not arrive too soon... but will necessarily happen, sooner or later). I would certainly not say that the main branch has enough with their jewels. There is never enough!!! Moreover, the Danish jewel collection is not that large (especially if we exclude the main pieces which are considered for the exclusive use of the Queen). And in the coming years, jewels will be required for not less than ten princesses (Crown Princess Mary, Princess Marie, and the eight daughters/daughters-in-law of Crown Prince Frederik and of Prince Joachim).
