Thank you for posting these pics, Arthur, I really appreciate it. Yes, it's a lovely piece and it would be a great addition if it went back into the royal vaults. The way things are tiaras will be spread thin the moment HM's granddaughters start wearing tiaras. --Previous Message-- : It is quite difficult, as the late Countess : Anne-Dorte usually wore this tiara bent : backwards on her head. Here are a few more : pictures: : : : : : (Credit: Jørgen Jessen/BT) : : : (Credit: Morten Bjørn Jensen/Polfoto) : : : (Source: : http://slaikjaer.com/royal_jewellery_pages/anne-dorte_tiaras : ) : : The same tiara worn by Princess : Caroline-Mathilde of Denmark (mother of : Count Ingolf, Princess Elisabeth and Count : Christian). The shape of the central : "prong" looks different than in : the version worn by Countess Anne-Dorte: : : : : I have also read (but I do not remember : where) that, on the following picture, : Princess Caroline-Mathilde is wearing the : sapphire and diamond clusters of the tiara : mounted as separate elements on her necklace : (her tiara is the one currently in the : possession of her daughter Princess : Elisabeth): : : : : :
