First of all - I love HM Queen Margrethe - but her modern jewels! I do not love.
From an artistic and jewellery craftsmanship ancle, yes they are fine. But the overall picture NO!
Let me mention:
The gold flower tiara by Arje Griegst - beautiful when not worn! The gold/pearl earrings (to match the tiara) by Arje Griegs - horrid both when worn and not worn. The demi-parure with rubies from the Prince Consort - I semi-like. The gold flower tiara with earrings made from gold from Greenland - hideous both when worn and not worn. The 'new' gold and ruby demi-parure (worn in Aarhus) - I like. The modern gold and turquoise demi-parure. Hideous when worn and not worn. Looks like something a friend picked up at a 10$ bazar at a market booth somewhere (though it has probably been very expensive!).
Why not buy classical jewellery? Can you imagine e.g. Princess Athena inheriting the new gold and turquoise demi-paprure? and wear it together with the gold flower tiara by Arje Griegst? NO!
Sorry if I sound very angry here - but sometimes you just want to speak your mid
