Bryce, I have never seen any photos of Queen Mary wearing the Teck Crescent Tiara or Circles Necklace. They were seen on Queen Mary's sister-in-law pre WW1 - Edwardian fashions- and then next appeared being worn by Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mary's daughter-in-law in 1939. That is why I suggested that Queen Mary bought them in 1927-1929 after the deaths of her brother & sister-in-law. There do not appear to be any photographs of her nephew's wife, Dorothy wearing either jewel and as Nellie's photo shows she wore the pearl & star tiara to the 1937 coronation (as well as to the 1953 coronation) Roberts has a section on these 2 jewels but only states that the tiara was still owned by the 2nd Duchess of Teck in 1914 - as Garrards made minor repairs in that year. He does not elaborate where it was between 1914 & 1930s
