The other day I noticed this photo of Queen Sonja wearing Queen Alexandra's circlet.
If posters zoom in, it is possible to see how the crosses are attached to the circlet. I had often wondered how that was achieved. It seems to me, because of the size of the gold band to which they are attached, that only three of the crosses are meant to be worn on the circlet - at present.

I have often wondered what might have happened to the fleurs de lys which Queen Alexandra had. They are not a symbol associated with Norwegian Queens. This photo is from the Royal Collection.
