Do we then know when was the last time the bigger version of this tiara was seen? Was it when worn by Countess Dorrit at Count Ingolf's wedding? Could the phrase 'broken up' mean that only some of the ears of wheat were removed and the tiara still existed although in a smaller version which was past down to Princess Feodora? Both she in older age and the first bride of her son Waldemar have been photographed wearing the smaller version. --Previous Message-- : I wrote a letter to Dorrit af Rosenborg many : years ago and asked about the wheat of ears : tiara, and she told me that the tiara became : broken upp and the wheats were divided among : the children of Princess Helena. : : --Previous Message-- : --Previous Message-- : : I actually thought the same as you, : Kongetro, : but as recall it there was an occasion where : both were seen at the same time, right...? : : I think both tiaras may have been worn at : Prince Ingolf's wedding in 1968. Countess : Dorrit definitely wore the bigger one. In a : photo I have seen, Princess Feodora wears a : tiara which COULD be the smaller one, but : the photo is rather blurry. : : :
