I am of course no expert here, but this photo has been identified as the pre-wedding gala in several places. It could be that the source for this information is the same and that this source got it wrong resulting in incorrect information all over. On the other hand, even though most relatives of the groom were not present at the wedding I think we can expect at least the father and the step-mother. Norway was for instance represented at the wedding by Crown Prince Olav and Crown Princess Märtha. As for who attended from the Danish family I could easily believe that Princess Helena be present as she was known to have strong German sympathy. Maybe she even came with her husband at her side. --Previous Message-- : At the time of the 1932 Coburg wedding most of : the groom's closest relatives were not : present, so I doubt this photo with both : King Gustav Adolf & Queen Louise was : taken at a pre-wedding party.
