It's amazing how timeless the shows really is. I mean 50 plus years... I watched it as a kid and I've sat and watched countless episodes with my kids and my young nieces and nephews. I wonder how many TV shows today have so many "main characters" that will be remembered so fondly for this long of a time period. Andy, Barney, Opie, Aunt Bee, Helen, Thelma Lou, Floyd, Otis, Ellie, Gomer, Goober, Ernest T., Clara, Howard, Emmett, Charlene and The Darlings, a couple of mayors, nurses and store owners. Just to name about 15-20 or so. And you're right, Al. Knowing you guys through TAGS has been special as well.
