Correction Dieter: most things English , rather than British . Remember, his favourite band across the pond is the RSNO.
We're talking here about somebody who in one of his reviews didn't seem to realise that Hallé wasn't actually a place. I suppose we ought to concede that at least he seems to get the difference between British and English.
