In view of the rather dire sound quality reported by Néstor, I presume that anyone wishing to acquire these particular performances would be well-advised to wait for the issue of a Pristine XR remastering?
Thanks to Néstor Castiglione for exposing the absurd contradictions that apparently inhabit the beliefs of some musicians (and listeners) about recorded sound. Noting that Ms Stern's album is available, according to the linked vendors, in digital formats only, the inclusion of an analogue tape recorder into her recording chain will add nothing to the final result except that machine's inherent noise, distortion and compression. Transfer to vinyl would, of course, lead to further sonic degradation.
