It seems to me neither Nestor nor you actually read the sleeve notes. (I just read them on the orchidclassics website.) Her issue is not with analog vs digital but with the recording practices and editing process, and how excess editing removes the reality from the piece. She even says how this has led to influence live playing, which has nothing to do with analog vs digital.
I just listened to the record and loved it, and was looking at what other people were thinking. While one’s opinion of the music is subjective, I think it’s hard to argue with her points in the sleeve notes.
