As for the "bad" performances you feel the need to inflict upon your poor ears, well certainly Evgeni Svetlanov's USSR cycle is the gift that keeps on giving, with levels of incompetence that often border on pure brilliance. I cannot fault the dedication to the cause, but too often the levels of execution are breathtaking for all the wrong reasons. Please proceed with caution !

Many congratulations on such a thorough and carefully considered survey. As ever, I find it has me scurrying to dig out the bad performances mentioned almost more than the ones generally accepted as good. Ages since I've listened to Boulez for example (which in itself might tell a story!) so that's going into the Christmas listening pile! Great piece of work - thankyou!
