Thanks again, Robert. Yes, it does strongly suggest that finally the original masters have been used. Some of the technical details leave me a bit mystified, but as this is essentially a music site, I'll leave the discussion there!

I came across the linked article, worth reading. It does explain some of the differences between the different remasterings/releases.
