”Dark side” or shining knights; I think that for Apple this is small money but a lot of prestige within the classical music community. It also is a sign that they are serious about the development of their classical app (so far only for Iphones, not for Macs) and of ”spatial audio”, which has pushed the boundaries of sound quality in that hemisphere where Apple exits.
I also think that this has been an important factor for Mr. von Bahr’s decision. But it’s only a guess.
I do hope that Apple will let Eclassical continue to exist.
