He is so, so crabby. I am trying to be pleasant about everything he needs to do....but he barks at me everytime I remind to drink lots of water, juice, pop, coffee. This is essential to keep his phlegm thinned and to stay 'regular'... SO many drugs... he is taking. All he says to me is ... leave me alone! It's been so difficult. Finally after a morning of 'leave me alone' ... I brought him some water and said: "Drink this and SHUT UP! He was stunned. Me too. Ten minutes later he apologized... me too. He stopped it for the rest of the day. AND he drank lots of liquids.

He doesn't feel very well. His breathing is a struggle. He won't eat much. He's depressed.

He saw the Pulmonary PA last week and then talked with the doctor on the phone last Thursday. They want to do the brontoscomy on September 30. He will be put under, then go down his windpipe with a camera and will take little pieces of his spot for a biopsy. I am so nervous about it. He's scared too. His sister, Nancy, is coming down Monday and then stay Tuesday. I appreciate it.
