Dad met with the surgeon this morning and either he has surgery to try to remove cancer in November or he decides no surgery and could have a year to live.

Chemo is not an alternative as there is a spot that can't be reached and it isn't curative.

Cardiologist says it is med-high risk for surgery. He is going to be scheduled for a stress test but can not walk without a walker so not sure how they are going to get him on a treadmill (?)

News is fresh so I don't think any of us know what happens now. There isa possibility of never coming home if there are complications during surgery and/or death.

Not the news we had hoped for but we have to put our trust in God. It's Dad's decision but I know he does not want to be back in the hospital for Christmas.
