gives you some relief, and the shoulder surgery gives you some more permanent relief. Not a great time to have surgery, but I totally understand not wanting to put it off any longer (I once elected to have surgery a couple of days before Christmas instead of January for the same reason. I hope that the healing is better than with a knee replacement.
