Dad got a call from the surgeon this morning and they want to see him this Thursday at 11 am. They have a report from the cardiologist, although they haven't seen him for the stress test. I am praying that he will be strong enough for surgery.

This is a tough one for him - if he can't have the surgery, he may live another year (or more) and if he has the surgery there is always risk as we know. He will have a colostomy bag for the rest of his life. He's not keen on that but I do believe he wants to keep living.
