I am not licensed to give advice, but if I was I would tell you to STOP trying to lose weight. Yep. Just quit. Quit weighing and fussing. Instead, make 2016 about the year that you get healthy and take the best trip to Europe EVER!
By now you know what you can and can't eat to not gain, and what you can and can't eat to lose, what you can eat to sleep well, and what you can and can't eat to feel at your best. That is enough if you follow that path. Trying to lose weight is just senseless with you because you just admitted that you are a contrary one. You will use it to sabotage yourself, but you deserve to be healthy and active in order to have a better life as we age out. We all do.
This year, how about we make choices to just feel good and be healthier. Even if we are here another 20 years together we are running out of time to taste that freedom and joy.
