The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

That he is doing better and his pain is manageable. So many things to consider when getting him back home. A lot of older homes aren’t equipped for seniors. I am torn between whether I want to update a bathroom that is upstairs by the bedrooms or throw down some money to try to put a bathroom on the main level. We have two bathrooms in our house and one is upstairs and one is downstairs. And all the bedrooms are upstairs. Luckily it is a split level house and there are only 6 steps going up or 6 steps going down-but in 10 more years will we be able to navigate any stairs when I am 78 and Ken is 85?? Lots to consider.
