The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Have home health therapists that can come out to his house? Ken did a week of rehab on the hospitals’ rehab floor and then went home and had a Physical therapist, an occupational therapist, a Speech therapist and a nurse come out each week to work with him. Insurance paid for it. All we needed was the doctors orders. If he’s hell bent on going home it would be great to have this if you can. It would help Paul out a lot. The Occupational therapist will work with him on showering and taking care of himself. I think Ken ended up with 8 weeks of PT. As long as your dad continues to get better they continue to come out. Once he has gotten as strong as he is going to get their services fade out. It’s worth asking about. You don’t want your dad falling and breaking another bone!
