Dad is walking entire distance of floor so that's good. Wound vac still on. Way less pain meds. Still feels "bound up". Next step they are talking about is rehab. Dad is dead set against it. Said they are sending him there to die even when they explain what it is. Says the surgeons messed up his surgery due to need for wound vac and 2 1/2 weeks in hospital when most people can "walk out of the room of surgery" (what first doc told us)

He is very depressed. Paul is considering taking him home he feels he will do better there. Mentally this is taking it's toll.

Can't speak reason to Dad at all - I believe he's just mentally exhausted and can't think straight. Cancer doc knows he is there - we're hoping she will pop in even to give him some words about next steps.

Dad just wants to be home.
