I don't use an egg cooker; I just throw them into a pan of boiling water for 10 minutes and ignore what they say about putting them into ice water and only cool them enough to handle them. Shake them in a little of the water and the peels usually fall right off. I just don't have space for all the gadgets so I have to choose.
