I have spent countless hours talking with her about all of this. I am so angry, hurt, scared for them and will probably cry hysterically when I go to bed. I ate a pint of low calorie Halo ice-cream. I am truly devastated by her actions. She just drags her boys into another Carin-made mess. I don't want to talk to her. He told her before that he has a right to know what anyone talks to her about which would include anything private I may want to talk to her about and he will read all her texts because God said she has to submit. He told her once ,"If I come in and tell you I want a BJ (sorry), you'll hit your knees and give me one." I told Carin that would actually be sexual assault if she didn't want to. He has said the most awful things to her. This is my precious girl and my precious great nephews. It's killing me. I worked the calories out with a light supper.

It is truly sad. My stomach did a somersault when I read it. The heart wants what the heart wants. It sounds like there is something about him that she is drawn to, even over the things she hates or has been groomed into thinking she does. We can love or desire a person even while hating their actions. I know it is devastating for you, but you can't let her decisions for her life hurt yours. That gives him power over you as well. Take that power back because he is not worthy. While typing this, it just hit me that my food decisions and choices are similar to her decisions regarding him; no matter how bad they are for me, it is something that I know and (laughably) think I can control. This is your chance to break that power the way you want his power over her broken. This is something you CAN control, and it also can serve as an example for her of breaking free. I am glad that you saw that habit for what it was and also that you turned it around by correcting it at the next meal. I am very proud of you, and you should be proud of yourself.

Congratulations on choosing to eat a light supper to balance out that ice cream. I know I don’t have to say this -but I love you and I will-you can’t eat your emotions. You need to be the best and healthiest version of you to be there for Carin when this all goes south! And it’s bound to. So hang in there-keep making smart choices for YOU even when Carin isn’t making smart choices and know that you can rise above all this. You have to take care of yourself! Don’t ever forget that!
