My five… Posted by Cindy on 9/21/2025, 2:29 pm, in reply to "Sunday grats..." 1. I mentioned in my grats yesterday that I had a great zoom weight-loss meeting. I asked my little group of friends why I continue to sabotage myself the two days before I’m supposed to weigh in. I weigh in on Tuesday morning and Sunday night and Monday nights are just horrible. One of the guys there suggested that I change my weigh in day to two days before so like either on Saturday or Sunday to see if that would make a difference. I decided to change it to Sunday mornings and weighed in this morning with good results! I will post my results on Wednesday, but hope that maybe breaking the cycle of too many carbs two days before I weigh in makes a difference. Feeling good about this! 2. I got my 5 minutes on my treadmill done for today. We got the treadmill on Tik Tok and love it because it has rails to keep us from stepping off the side if we lose our balance-but the walking pad isn’t as wide as I would like it to be. I need to keep my watch arm free to count the steps but it’s kind of hard as I tend to step on the sides of the walking pad which is awkward. I’ve decided to just hang on to the rails to stay safe and not worry about counting those steps! I’m thinking about looking for another treadmill for me (Ken does fine on the one we have) that has a wider walking pad. 3. My banana pancakes. These are so good and are 0 points for me! 4. Not sure the grat but WW added a feature that shows the macros that we are supposed to eat each day and what we ate. I will post it for you to see but it seems kind of off in my opinion! Let me know what you think. 5. Ken and I are so blessed. So grateful to God who loves us so much.

about the walking Posted by Detla on 9/21/2025, 7:08 pm, in reply to "My five…" if i remember I slip my watch in my left pocket because it is always empty, when I am pushing a shopping cart. not always totally on but much better than what shows up with my hands on the cart.

Mine Posted by Paula on 9/21/2025, 11:02 am, in reply to "Sunday grats..." Went on the online re-sale site, Thread Up and ordered an outdoor vest and 2 lighter-weight ankle pants from Talbots. Talbot's bottoms fit me best and there were 2 that appealed to me. All of that and a pair of dressier pants for work. The 14s were fine except for the waist. I think I spent $62 in total! Found a bunch of tops in my stash. Eggplant Parm turned out OK. It tasted really good but was too runny. I was short on the Eggplant and think that's what went awry. Also, added too much basil. I am not a huge basil or pesto fan. I didn't notice that the crushed tomatoes had basil in them. I shouldn't have put in as much as the recipe called for. That recipe is quite a bit of work but I actually enjoyed making it. Best part? My back held up with all that standing. Start PT tomorrow. Krista's day is almost here!

I call it shopping in my closet. I will even tell my husband I'm going shopping, and then disappear into the spare room to begin my search. LOL! I read an article today that said trench coats are in fashion in France right now. Do you own a trench coat?

I plan on layers like tees and outdoor vests, a sweater, hoodies. I don't have anything formal (like an opera) planned for this trip so casual Will do it. I think trench coats are always in fashion . I don't like lugging a coat unless it's in winter.

It made me think of Beverly. 2. Krista will be on her way tomorrow! I am so excited for Krista! 3. Paula was discharged! I am so happy for Paula! 4. Hugs, smiles, laughter, dancing, singing for 7 days straight while in Ohio. 5. FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me! Maintenance is a forever endeavor!
