LOL BUT… someone donated a My DASH Mug that makes single serve ice cream at work. Since no one wanted it-I took it home and I LOVE it! It makes the best creamiest ice cream. I am going to experiment with different bases as I know I can use frozen bananas, etc - but I am making it with skim milk, a little fat free half and half and 2 tblsp of sugar free pudding mix! Seriously-it is amazing. Only takes around 10-15 minutes to churn and the texture is like silk! If you have used one of these ice cream makers and have any low calorie bases that I can make-please share!

I have a quart sized that goes in the freezer then has an electric motor when I want to make ice cream. We have a large family size but I am an ice cream gal. I have tons of healthier ice cream. I even bought a recipe book from a lady that is fixated on ice cream so her book has dozens and dozens. I haven't made all of them but the ones I have made are pretty good. I will share some tips from her. She uses a drop or two of food grade glycerin to give it creaminess. She also makes her own sweetened condensed milk with skim milk or coconut milk and stevia. I am pretty sure that Splenda would work. A lot of ice cream recipes are made with sweetened condensed milk but it is high in sugar.

" Most of my recipes are for bigger batches, but if you have two of the mugs, this one might work. Low-fat can get grainy so a drop or two of glycerin might help. Glycerin usually helps if you freeze the ice cream in the freezer, then blend it.
