My small electric blanket that I put on my feet when I sleep at night. PMKK loves it too. My walker/rollerator helps me so much. Starting to think about the garden again.... All the things we did together. He was very kind and supportive person. Daily talks and going places and so much more. I have to figure out how to get my garden done. Mike isn't a gardener. He pulled out my jack in the pulpits last spring even when I pointed to them. He has good intentions. Not really the end of the world... really. I have to find people to help me figure it out. I am feeling kind of shut down. Yes.. a big part of it is my health. I have so much going on health wise... feet, ankles, stomach, gastro, new food stuff, loud ringing in my ears, aches & pains. Too many to talk about..... Actually, we all have many health things now. I have been sick today and I missed seeing the play Maya has been participating with. I am rambling, sorry. I must stop reading about our country. It gets me down. I can't change things .....

I went through a program called Griefshare. Can you go to griefshare.org ( if interested) And it will tell you where all they are having it by you. It’s usually at churches in their side rooms. It’s so nice to Talk to people going through exactly what you are. I went through twice about a year apart. It really did help me. You watch about a 10 min long video every week then the group talks. You can share if you want to or just listen. Anyway I’m Thinking of you. Hugs and prayers to you. Look at the website

Coffee at 9 this morning with Kim. Always love catching up with her. 3. I have been putting frankincense balm on Ken’s feet and it is helping with his neuropathy. Three toes on one foot burn like they are on fire and this is taking care of it! So grateful. Always glad when I can help my guy feel better. 4. I picked up groceries curbside at Walmart on my way home from work on Thursday so I don’t need to do it today. I’m trying to pick up groceries every 2 weeks instead of weekly. Hoping to use up stuff in the freezer and pantry and save a little money. Love the convenience of curbside. 5. Having enough. So grateful. Thank you God.

I mix Frankincense with sweet almond oil as a face cream, and it makes my skin feel wonderful. My mother mixes it with Noxema (because she had some and was out of carrier oils), and it helps her neuropathy a great deal. Never heard of that so it kinda scares me, but she is 91, if she can get relief from pain, that's great.

Paul notified Extra Mural who called non-emerg ambo and they thought it would be safest to err on side of caution. The doc thinks it was side effect of coming off blood thinner injections. Tested hemoglobins and they were ok so home they sent him after about 6 hours 2) again his upcoming appointments to hopefully get foot pain and colorectal cancer issues resolved 3) somehow I managed to keep focused and had a great day broadcasting live from the Hospital Lottery Show home 4) weekend is here and we don't have to spend it at a hospital 5) got a week's worth of Optifast shakes at cost from clinic and planning on replacing a meal with those 1-2 times a day this week

But so glad to have bee able to do it. Have been on track for a few days. Balanced my checkbook. Took forever because I hadn't done it in a month. First time through, I ended up with my calculations of an ending balance of $96 and the bank's $2000-something! Bank was right (YAY). I debited a paycheck instead of adding it. PHEW! Cataract surgery. My right eye is essentially blind now. It has grown so quickly. My right eye is doing all the work. Wish I had taken care of this before my trip. I swear gremlins throw medical stuff at me when I'm traveling to try to stop me or, see how tough I am!

PT massaged it and gave me exercises to do. She also told me not to walk Cosette until after my trip. Co doesn't pull hard. She is actually good on a leash but, she pulls some and my PT said.not to risk it aggravating my side. She said it's now a vulnerable area and can get triggered easily.

That's scheduled for May 11th. From there they will schedule the surgery for my right eye. A.bit after that, I'll have the left one done.

Just one for me Posted by Joan on 3/28/2026, 6:59 am, in reply to "Saturday Gratitude..." The last week of March marks the maintenance anniversary of when I reached goal weight. I know I've said this before, but I consider my maintenance anniversary more significant than when I started my food journey because although I've started diets/lost weight hundreds/thousands/millions of times, maintaining the weight loss has always been the difficult part. Here are my stats: Highest weight - 306 Current goal weight range 118-124 Today's weight - 120 Began weight loss journey - May 2018 Reached goal weight - March 2020 So, I've maintained the loss for 6 years! FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me! Thank you for allowing me to be part of the group! Maintenance is a forever endeavor!
