My five… Posted by Cindy on 5/3/2026, 2:21 pm, in reply to "Sunday grats..." 1. Quiet Sunday mornings. 2. I cleaned off our covered patio today. It had a lot of leaves that had blown in and we had a lot of wind and the screen was coming down so I had a project! Got everything swept off and was starting to secure the screen when Ken came out and actually hammered some nails for me at the top where I couldn’t reach. TOGETHER we got it done! Really did us both a lot of good. 3. A beautiful day outside. Temps in the 80’s with a slight breeze. Love it. 4. Ken having some good hours. I can’t say good days yet as he still hurts quite a bit-but when that pain pill kicks in he starts feeling hopeful that he will get better which does my heart some good. 5. This day and all it has to offer. God is good.

Feel a little more normal this morning The Kentucky Derby winner. I don't watch the race but WOW! Thanks to YouTube! Hearing about Joan's First Communion class. My best friend from blankets on the ground to our 20s was Catholic and had 4 sisters as well. I remember them, one by one, wearing their pretty white dresses and head covering, heading to church their special day. I was a bit jealous about the fancy dresses! BUT, at that time, I was taught all Catholics went to hell. GG I remember at around 10, going to my Catholic sister-in-law, crying and trying to get her to not be Catholic because I didn't want her to go to hell. I'm sure she didn't.

He's so good to us! 2) I just made my white chocolate jello pudding with added protein and am cooking up my ricotta bakes in little ramekins. 3) our annual party is 2 weeks from yesterday. We didn't have one last fall so we're looking forward to seeing friends here on May 16 4) good appointment with behavioural gal. Mostly she was getting to know me and about me in general. But her first great idea to take away was to find a hobby that uses my hands and brain to get away from mindless snacking. Think of something from your childhood that gave you JOY! Puzzle books, Lite Brite, colouring came to mind for me and I've never tried "diamond painting" so I ordered one off Amazon last night 5) all of you amazing ladies who inspire me and who I love dearly

I appreciate how Verizon identifies SPAM on my phone, so I don't have to bother. 3. There was a nice breeze this morning when we went out for our morning walk. 4. Shadow, our cat, sits patiently at the opening to the kitchen just waiting for me to come out every morning to talk to him. 5. FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me! Maintenance is a forever endeavor!
