Part of the problem is that the people who have "admin" access to the board don't have *enough* access to add people. It's been very hard getting in touch with the board owner. I think Marianne had a higher level of admin privileges.
I hadn't looked at the "history of royal jewels" board for quite a while, and its level of activity seemed on par with this one's.
So, yeah, if I'm not interested in a subject, I won't post. I also have zero photo-uploading skills, and I don't go to Instagram. I've been on this board for 20 years, and I don't plan to leave it.

The truth is, this board is slowly fading into insouciance. We all know it, the pull of quick and easy social media has spread even to royal jewels. I spend way more time on Instagram, and I know others do too.
ps- and not everyone is interested in British brooches.

That is a question only joye can answer of course but I think maybe it could be down to frustration of not having had any reaction to her thread. This last thread where joye tried to start a discussion on a specific section of Queen Elizabeth II's brooches was probably just the last drop after several such occurences.
I hope I can be forgiven for making these general assumptions without knowing for certain the exact reason for joye's reaction. Previous Message
