According to Norwegian journalist court reporter Kjell Arne Totland, “a member of the Swedish Royal Family” has bought back the tiara which once belonged to Queen Sofia and then to Countess Estelle Bernadotte av Wisborg, alternately described as being set with diamonds and pink tourmalines or white sapphires.
It was worn by Queen Sofia at her 1873 coronation as Queen of Norway and Trond N. Isaksen confirmed in his blog a few days ago that Countess Estelle’s descendants recently sold it.
