First I would like to thank all the posters that have contributed to this wonderful thread on Queen Fabiola's jewelry casket. She had the largest jewelry collection of all the Belgian royal ladies, and a fine collection it was. Lets see what the near future will bring, will some be sold for the Queen's charities or we will see the more important ones being worn by Queen Mathilde at some point.
May HM rest in peace alongside her beloved husband.
Continuing with the Queen's jewels, I found this small picture in Wikipedia. Its dated 1969 and Queen Fabíola is wearing one of her pearl necklaces and an impressive insect brooch. Are there any other pictures of this brooch being worn please? It looks of considerable size.
