Re: Any new old movies for Halloween?
Well, probably! I just missed a TCM showing of a classic British film that I wanted to see all the way through. I have seen bits and pieces. DEAD OF NIGHT(1945). If they don't show it again, I guess I have just missed out. The dvd is too expensive and it is not on youtube. I still say Al,you need to seek out "THE HOUSE THAT WOULD NOT DIE" (1970) starring Barbara Stanwyck. It is really atmospheric and done in the classic style. You can pick it up on dvd for uner 10$. I got mine in the Wal-mart bargin bin for 5$. It is on a compilation dvd called 8 FILM HAUNTED HOLLOWS. I also am going to watch another 70's spookflick called "DEATHDREAM". Is it any good? I dunno but reviews seem high. We'll see. On another note Al, "THE UNINVITED" is now availible on dvd from the Criterion Collection. I have mine ordered!
