No Al, I just got the dvd. I haven't really got into Blu-ray yet. I'm pretty content with dvd's on my 50" tv. What little I have experienced, I feel like blu-ray makes things too "clear" exposing some flaws in film making. Maybe anyway. I have seen some things in blueray that just gave the picture a "fake" feel.
