In looking for a classic Christmas film to watch, I found COVER UP, from 1949. a murder mystery that takes place during the Christmas holiday.
I thought this one was pretty interesting. it kept me going through the hour and a half runtime. Not too complex. I thought the cast overall was good. Barbara Britton was stunning and the highlight of the film.
The Christmas atmosphere didn't really come off too strong...perhaps if it had been filmed in color? The trimmings were there.
I recommend it. It is available on youtube.
If you watch this one, Al, give me your opinion on the ending.
