I thought Stu Weatherby was the murderer. He just had that normal, old-fashioned, clean cut look about him as a devoted husband and father. So, I figure, it's him! Nope. LOL

William Bendix as the sheriff is really good in this. Seems he always plays for laughs, or is the doofus. KILL THE UMPIRE is one of his I really like.

I've seen this formula many times. Small-town. Strangers unwanted.....At least a few with similar themes on episodes of Cannon or Barnaby Jones and the like.
