Thanks Carlo, it's been many years since I last bought PdV... Interesting this tiara was mentioned in the article, it has disappeared since the 1960's like the fabulous diamond tiara recently worn by Pss MC. I believe the circles tiara belongs to Pss Irene, who does not atend tiara events and loaned it to her niece Infanta Elena in early 1990's to the Wurtemberg wedding. Did Pss Catherine's tiara returned to the royal family after her death? The origin of the tiara, was it royal or a gift from her husband? Still many questions unclear about this piece It is a perfect small tiara for junior ladies of the family to wear (Pss Tatiana, Theodora, Pc Philipos future wife). If really the tiara is back to the family I hope they will wear it, recently Pss Theodora borrowed the small danish turquoise tiara from her aunt. --Previous Message-- : As I said already in a previous post on the : Greek Royal jewels, just before Prince : Nicholas and Princess Tatiana's wedding : there was an article on PdV magazine about : the probable tiara to be worn by the future : bride, and there were at least five options, : if I don't mistake, I think they were: : 1) the Khedivë diamonds tiara : 2) the pearls and diamonds corsage tiara : (which was the choice in the end). : 3) the little circles diamonds tiara (worn : for the last time in public by Infanta Elena : at a Wurttemberg Family wedding. : 4) the Queen Sophia's impressive diamonds : tiara only recently reappeared. : 5) Last but not least was Princess Catherine : of Greece's mistery tiara. : : : : : : : : :
