Thank God the Dauphine of France still owns a nice set of jewels, the necklace-tiara and the gorgeous earrings! She can then find the best way to wear her tiara, in order to please everyone, and still there would be someone who does not like the results. By the way, I don't remember who said, in one of the posts on this subjet, that the Duchesse de Montpensier, the Crown Prince of France's mother, must have a nice collection of jewels. If she has, she has never worn them in public, because apart from very tiny pearls earrings and tiny pearls necklace I have never seen nothing else on her at official ceremonies (family christenings or birthdays). She was born Princess of Württenberg, a rather wealthy German family, she could well have nice jewels. I am thinking of the jewels worn by her sister-in-law, Princess Diane of France, but of course the latter is the head of the family's wife.
