Don't get too exited. I am leaning towards a mistake on the official website. I think WA will wear a uniform during the swearing-in ceremony. He might wear one or a morning coat for the abdication in the palace. The dinner at the Rijksmuseum is most likely to be a black tie event (given Beatrix' trackrecord that is the most likely scenario). The hope is that if he wears a uniform for the ceremony, the white tie could be worn for the evening event but im not sure that will be the case. It could be another black tie event or even less formal than that. --Previous Message-- : : : --Previous Message-- : The official announcement is that he will : wear : white tie with the ermine cloak. That leaves : two other moments on that day to wear a : uniform: : : 1 for the ceremony in the palace and : announcement on the balcony : 2 for the boattrip and dinner. The latter : would require him to wear the eveninggala : dress of his naval uniform and that could be : good news as it would indicate a white tie : dinner and tiara's for the women. : : : Wonderful, Johan! There's hope yet : : RE : :
