I still did not have the time to take a good look at this book. A lot of valuable information I believe, since there is scarse reliable information on the Portuguese jewels.

I was unnaware that the author was now Director of the Ajuda Palace, at the time he wrote the book he was a researcher I think. On the book cover he titles Dona Isabel as "HRH Dona Isabel of Herédia"
Perhaps he will organize a future exibition of the crown jewels (I was lucky enought to atend the exibition made many years ago, it was the first time the jewels were seen since the fall of the monarchy, and they are superb!)

: There is a book named 'Se as Jóias Falassem'
: (in english is something like 'If the
: jewelry speak') about the history of many
: portuguese royal jewels since the foundation
: of Portugal. Some of the jewels still belong
: to the Portuguese Royal Family, like the
: Queen Amelia Diamond Choker/Tiara. It
: contains lots of good pictures.
    :
: The author is now director of the National
: Palace of Ajuda and the prologue is from HRH
    : D.Isabel, Duchess of Bragança.
