: I still did not have the time to take a good
: look at this book. A lot of valuable
: information I believe, since there is scarse
: reliable information on the Portuguese
    : jewels.
    :
: I was unnaware that the author was now
: Director of the Ajuda Palace, at the time he
: wrote the book he was a researcher I think.
: On the book cover he titles Dona Isabel as
: "HRH Dona Isabel of Herédia"
: Perhaps he will organize a future exibition
: of the crown jewels (I was lucky enought to
: atend the exibition made many years ago, it
: was the first time the jewels were seen
: since the fall of the monarchy, and they are
    : superb!)

: There is a book named 'Se as Jóias Falassem'
: (in english is something like 'If the
: jewelry speak') about the history of many
: portuguese royal jewels since the foundation
: of Portugal. Some of the jewels still belong
: to the Portuguese Royal Family, like the
: Queen Amelia Diamond Choker/Tiara. It
: contains lots of good pictures.
    :
: The author is now director of the National
: Palace of Ajuda and the prologue is from HRH
    : D.Isabel, Duchess of Bragança.
